So here is the post about the Australian Open 2013. Yeeeey Novak Djokovic and Victoria Azarenka won. Same people as last year. I have to admit I was not really watching the women's final. After Maria Sharapova lost I was not that much interested in it that much and I only watched the first set of the final.
But I watched the whole game today. Andy Murray against the champignon of 2011 and 2012 Novak Djokovic.
I do not know if I am the only one who always pities the looser of a grand slam final. I have to say I changed from a Murray girl to a Djokovic one but however I definitely wanted Andy to win. (Just check my tweets and you will see it :P ) I think he was the one who deserves it more. He beat Roger Federer in the semi finals and Novak "only" Ferrer. And I really want Andy to win his second grand slam title as soon as possible. I also feel like he has to win a second as soon as possible to acknowledge ( not sure if this is the right word but it is the only one that comes to my mind at the moment ) his US Open title in 2012 where he beat Novak. I kind of felt like he had to do it before Nadal comes back.
On the other hand I am really really happy for the Djoker. He deserves it so much and now he definitely has proven that he is the best tennis player at the moment and that he deserves to be number 1 in the ATP ranking.
There was one thing or one person I really missed watching the finale. I think Novak's box kind of looked a little bit empty without his girlfriend Jelena Ristic. Are they still together or not ?
So what is your opinion about the final ? I promise the next post will be about fashion again. Maybe it will be from Tanja as she is the one who is more interested in fashion than me.
