stay positive
So it's been a while since we put up our last post, but finally we managed to write a new one so here is it.
This one is about staying positive and trying to regret nothing you did in the past. We know it is pretty hard to stay positive all the time. Sometimes you just feel low or like someone hit you in the face. We all know how horrible that feeling is. But we are trying to give you some tips to feel a little bit better.
There are many different reasons why you can feel that way. For example you have familiy problems, you are just not happy with yourself, you got your periode or you had a huge fight with someone. But there are also times where you feel like you are not worth anything and you don't even know why. (Happens to us a lot).
We tried to find a few tips that might help you to feel better or to get easier trough this tough time.
And never ever forget everyone is feeling not so good some times. So you are not the only one who is depressed at some point.
- Try to spend as much time as possible friends, who always manage to cheer you up. Go shopping with them, out for dinner or just grab a coffee (or hot chocolate that always manages to cheer me up - Kati) and talk. I promise you that will help and it will put your whole friendship on a new level. Or try to a not so close friend. Sometimes it is much easier to talk to someone you have not known for so long.
That helped me (Kati) a lot last year. I had a pretty rough time. I was in my last year at school and not everything was how I wanted it to be. That's when I started to spend a lot of time with Tanja. We messaged a lot, like REALLY a lot and I would say now she is one of my closest friends. If I feel low or have a problem I know i can always relay on her and she would give me great advice.
- You can also just cuddle up in your bed with some sweets and ice cream and watch an old movie. I would highly recommend Breakfast at Tiffany's for a lazy day. And when you wake up the next day
you will hopefully feel a little bit like Holly :-) and that will change your mood instantly.
- Another great thing to do when you feel just not like yourself is to go out for a walk or a run. We love that because running in not so a high tempo always cheers us up. Go on a run with your best friend and it will be even better and you are also doing something for your health and body.
So we know most of you will say that are all tips we already knew, but these are the things we do when we are depressed. :-)
And never forget to do not regret anything you have ever done. It helped you to be the person you are at the moment.
We hope you are all having a great day. We are going on a little shopping trip and trying to film our first video or at least make some good pictures.
